Non-payable fines in Abu Dhabi, often referred to as blocked or locked fines, can initially seem perplexing. If you receive a non-payable fine, it means that you have accrued black points along with the fine amount.
Before you cannot settle non payable fines online, you need to pay a personal visit to the police station. To resolve this, you were asked to bring your driver’s license and Emirates ID to the nearest Abu Dhabi Police station. There, the black points were assigned to your driving record, allowing you to pay the fine on the spot.
Now you can also pay your unpayable fines online. Follow this guide to understand the steps and requirements for paying non-payable fines in Abu Dhabi efficiently.
I am going to provide you 2 simple online and offline methods to pay unpayable fines in Abu Dhabi. These methods are personally tested and verified from my friends and colleagues. So, you can follow the following guide with confidence.
Method 01: Pay Unpayable Fines Through TAMM Mobile App
Open TAMM mobile app in your smartphone & signin by your UAE PASS
You will see your Abu Dhabi traffic fines on your screen.
If you see an orange dot on your fines, it means you have some unpayable fines. This is due to black points.
Now click on the “pay all” button.
You will see the detail of your fines.
If any fine has “Orange Dot” at the right corner, this is your unpayable fine. Click on it.
Now you will need to transfer your black points.
Click on the “Transfer Black Points” button.
Now you will see two ways to transfer black points.
Transfer to my license
Transfer from another traffic profile
01- Transfer to my license
Choose “Transfer to my license” & select your fine & click “Next” button.
You will receive an OTP SMS on your cell phone number.
Enter the OTP & click on the “Verify & Submit” button.
Your black points successfully transferred to your license and your non-payable fine is unlocked.
Now you can pay your fine easily.
02- Transfer from another traffic profile
Select “transfer from another traffic profile” and click on the “Next” button.
Now enter your traffic fine number in the box and click on the “next” button.
Select your fine & click the “Next” button.
You will receive an OTP SMS on your cell phone number.
Enter the OTP & click on the “Verify & Submit” button. Your black points successfully transferred to your license.
You can pay your fine now.
You can apply the above procedure on the TAMM website to pay your unpayable fines in Abu Dhabi.
Method 02: Pay Non Payable Fines by Visiting Office
Ensure you have the following documents ready:
Vehicle registration card
Valid driving license
Emirates ID or passport with visa
Head to any designated Traffic Police Service Center in Abu Dhabi. Bring your vehicle registration card, valid driving license, and Emirates ID or passport with visa. Provide your driving license to which the black points will be transferred. Now you can pay your fine on the spot.
Non-payable fines in Abu Dhabi, also known as blocked or locked fines, are penalties issued for serious traffic violations. They require a visit to a Police Service Center to settle, as they cannot be paid online.
